Earrings are a varied item in the jewellery box and have historic, religious as well as decorative significance. It is said that a sailor with a pierced ear lobe had sailed around the world or crossed the equator.

With styles ranging from simple single settings to elaborate and intricate drops using paste stones or gems set in gold and silver, they make a perfect gift for a teenager through to a grandma or for yourself!

Although most earrings made before the 20th Century were for pierced ears, not all have retained their original wires. All replacement wires are in 15ct gold.
